I lived in San Diego for 11 years, before moving to Kansas City MO and I've always loved the desert. It reminds me of another planet! This elopement was created to showcase the vastness and beauty of the desert. I knew it would be windy, which made the Leah dress by Daci Gowns absolutely perfect. The movement it creates in the wind is pure magic, as well as most of her dresses. Kyle and Lauren visit the Anza Borrego Desert often, so I knew they would love the desert landscape as much as I do! Stella the dog was less than impressed with everything and wanted to eat her floral collar, which made all of us laugh. ALWAYS bring your pup!
I wanted to show couples how simple an elopement can be out in the desert. Who wouldn't want to say their vows to each other which such a jaw dropping background. I hope these photos inspire other couples to YES to the desert when considering an elopement location! Of course I wouldn’t have been able to do any of this without an amazing team!
